Material composition:

Properties:

Application Areas:

• Used for valves, mixers, agitators

• Style 503 is particularly used for service involving high peripheral speeds and temperatures, where pure PTFE packings fail

• TEADIT style 503 can-because of its extremely wide application range-successfully replace many other packings and reduce stock levels considerably.

Our clients can also avail Stuffing-Box-Packing Type 2004, which is suitable for valves and piston pumps, mixers and reactors in various industries such as pulp and paper, pharmaceutical, food, sugar, chemical and petro-chemical, power stations and steel mills. Our range is also ideal as anti-extrusion rings in combination with softer packings.

Material Composition:

• Diagonally braided from continuous Aramid fibres, impregnated with PTFE and high temperature silicone oil

Properties:

• These Stuffing-Box-Packing are tough and durable packing with a chemical compatibility better than PTFE- lubricated asbestos and the unsurpassed mechanical strength of Aramid

• The impregnation with PTFE and lubricant results in a low coefficient of friction and allows shaft speeds up to 15 m/sec.

• Due to the toughness of Aramid we recommend a shaft (sleeve) hardness > 60 HRC.

Application Media:

• The chemical resistance of Aramid together with the PTFE impregnation allows this packing to be used in connection with most chemicals (except very corrosive ones), water, steam, oils, solvents, etc., while its extreme abrasion resistance makes it ideal for use with abrasive sand, slurry and other gritty media.

Our range is sourced from certified vendors and ideal for applications. These are diagonally braided from a newly developed expanded PTFE yarn, filled with highly refined mineral filler particles, treated with FDA-conform mineral oil. Furthermore, our range is available in following specifications:

• Excellent chemical resistance

• Conforms to FDA regulations

• Easy to install, needs little gland adjustments

• Very malleable and supple packing with low coefficient of friction, hardly any shaft wear. The filler particles inside the yarn enhance the heat transfer properties as well as lubricant absorption and retention over a longer period

• Widely used in rotary pumps, piston pumps, agitators, mixers, sliders and valves in all kinds of industry

Application Media:

• The chemical inertness of PTFE makes this packing suitable for use with nearly all fluids, including the most corrosive acids and alkalies, while the FDA conformity allows for use with foodstuffs, pharmaceutical products and potable water

Benefits:

FDA conformity It provides superior seal ability with minimum gland pressure. This results in unsurpassed low leakage rates coupled with longer packing life.

Not Suitable For:

• Molten alkali metals and fluorine compounds at high temperature and pressure, oxygen.

We are engaged in providing a high quality Stuffing-Box-Packing Type 2017 to our clients that meet their individual requirements. These are diagonally braided from GPTFE- yarn (PTFE with incorporated graphite), reinforced at the corners with continuous Aramid yarn, lubricated with silicone oil. It has high performance multi-yarn packing properties that combines the advantages of the supple GPTFE material with those of tough and durable Aramid. Thus, it reduces shaft-wear and better thermal conductivity than standard Aramid packings.

Application Areas:

• Multi-purpose packing

• Good for high pressure applications

• Particularly well suited for use in piston-pumps, mixers, stirrers, reactors, for industrial and chemical process valves

Application Media:

• Can be used with a wide variety of media including abrasive ones: cold and hot water, steam, solvents, oils, greases, diluted acids and lyes, brine, sewage etc.

Benefits:

• It is well suited for difficult sealing applications such as those with high pressures or abrasive media and ensuring longer service life

• Combines exceptional extrusion resistance and high mechanical strength with good chemical and thermal stability

• Highly concentrated acids and lyes, alkali metals, fluorine and fluorine compounds at high temperatures

We offer a qualitative range of Stuffing-Box-Packing Type 2007, which is diagonally braided from pure, expanded PTFE- yarn with incorporated graphite, lubricated with silicone oil. It has suppleness, chemical resistance, low co-efficient of friction and excellent heat dissipation properties. Resultantly, it is widely used for most versatile packings in the market.

Properties:

• FMPA and WRc approvals

• Chloride content < 20 ppm

Application Areas:

• Very versatile pump packing,

• Used for valves, mixers, agitators, etc

• Well suited for service involving high peripheral speeds and temperatures, where pure PTFE packings fail

• These Teadit style 2007 has wide range of applications and replace many other packings and reduce stock inventories considerably

• In addition, this packing has been approved by Sunds Defibrators in Sweden for use in their refiners and similar equipment for the pulp and paper industry

Not Suitable For:

• Highly oxidizing media like oleum, fuming nitric acid, aqua regia, gaseous fluorine, lacquer and paints

Properties:

• Very flexible and supple packing, good alternative to preformed graphite-rings

• Style 2010 combines the advantages of pure graphite rings with the ease of installation of conventional packings; very low coefficient of friction and excellent thermal conductivity; does not age or harden; chemically inert (pH 0-14) except with highly oxidizing media.

Application Media

• Steam, water, fuel, gases, chemicals, mineral and synthetic oils, effluents

• Suitable for all processes, except with highly oxidizing media

Benefits:

• It reduces stock inventories considerably

• Provides economic alternatives to asbestos packings

• Reduces maintenance time and cater for very demanding duties

• Because of its low density, style 2010 yields more meters per kg, which makes it a very economical packing

Not Suitable For:

• Highly oxidizing agents.

Our clients can avail Stuffing-Box-Packing Type 2024, which is an extruded packing made from pure PTFE fine- powder and a food approved lubricant. These are available in round and square cross sections that meet the individual requirement of clients. It is widely used in different industries.

Properties:

• It is a soft and dense packing.

• It has a very low co-efficient of friction, excellent resistance to gas permeation and is self-lubricating

• Style 2024 remains soft and pliable even after long service, which reduces friction on shafts and spindles

• Can be used in areas where the naturally dark color of TEADIT style 2022 is unsuitable, i.e. in the food and pharmaceutical industry

Application Areas:

• Suitable for use in pumps, mixers, sliders, valves, and also has many static applications

• It has softness of the packing properties. Thus, it is normally installed with a braided top and bottom ring

• Depending on the prevailing pressure and medium, TEADIT styles 2422, 2044, 2005 or 2006 can be recommended for this purpose.

Application Media:

• Because of the exceptional chemical resistance of pure PTFE, style 2024 can be used with most substances, both liquid and gaseous.

• Suitable for use with abrasive and crystallizing media.

Benefits:

• It has a very low coefficient of friction and therefore does not damage shafts or spindles

• Abrasive or crystallizing particles get embedded in the body of this packing

• Can be used with a wide variety of different media and also for static applications

Not Suitable For

• Alkali metals, fluorine and fluorine compounds at high temperature and pressure, oxygen

With the help of our vendors, we offer qualitative range of Stuffing-Box-Packing Type 2124, which is made from 100% pure PTFE. These are extremely pliable and durable valve stem packing and have excellent chemical and thermal resistance. It also has an exceptionally low level of friction and adhesion. Furthermore, our range has got BAM approval.

Application Areas:

• It is widely used as a static seal in many different areas

Application Media:

• TEADIT style 2124 can be used in connection with most liquid and gaseous substances, including oxygen

• Excellent all-purpose valve stem packing for many different industries

Benefits:

• It is pure PTFE- material and can be installed in spiral form. This reduces installation time. When compressed, the spiral becomes a solid, impervious and extremely durable PTFE- sleeve

• The low coefficient of friction facilitates easy valve stem movement

• BAM approved for used with oxygen

Not Suitable For:

• Molten alkali metals and fluorine compounds at high temperatures and pressures.

We are offering a qualitative range of Stuffing-Box-Packing Type 2200 to our clients at competitive prices. It is diagonally braided from high quality pure carbon fibre yarn, impregnated with graphite and a corrosion inhibitor. It has good flexibility and heat dissipating properties, and used for conventional carbon packings.

Properties:

• Very low coefficient of friction.

• Excellent chemical and thermal stability.

• Good flexibility and heat dissipating properties.

• It prevents gap-extrusion of the softer flexible graphite

• Style 2200 is very well suited as top and end rings in combination with styles 2000 and 2100

Application Areas:

• Can be used equally well in pumps, also boiler feed pumps, valves, mixers, refiners, etc. in many different industries like pulp- and paper, power stations, chemical and pharmaceutical industry and many more.

Application Media:

• Style 2200 covers the full ph-range and can be used with nearly all media: cold and hot water, steam, chemicals, hot gases, alcohol, solvents, heat transfer agents, etc.

Benefits:

• It has coefficient of thermal expansion.

• It needs less adjustments of the gland, low coefficient of friction, which means low shaft wear

• It has low specific gravity results in excellent economy.

• Style 2200 closes the gap (also price-wise) between conventional packings and pure graphite packings.

Not Suitable For:

• Highly concentrated corrosive acids.

We provide a superior range of Stuffing-Box-Packing Type 2202, which is diagonally braided from pure expanded flexible graphite, reinforced at the corners with a high quality pure carbon yarn. These are especially designed for very demanding applications. It has some special construction style and can be used in various areas where normal expanded graphite packings fail. Furthermore, it has pure carbon fibers reinforcing the corners and body of this packing that make it at least three times more resistant to extrusion and also extremely pressure-resistant.

Application Areas:

• It is extensively used in all demanding applications, both static and dynamic.

• Style 2202 does not suffer from limitations that prevent general service use in both pumps and valves.

• It is extremely well suited for high temperature - high pressure installations occurring in power stations, petrochemical plants, steel mills etc.

Application Media:

• Although designed with an eye on high temperature steam applications, style 2202 can be used with all chemicals but the most aggressive acids

• Very good all-purpose packing, which can lower stock volumes considerably.

Benefits:

• It has high proportion of expanded flexible graphite that conforms readily to stuffing box configurations, installs easily and requires little gland adjustments.

• Extreme pressure and extrusion resistance.

• Strong oxidizing agents.
